Research in Action - Invitation to Participate in a Q-Sort Survey
On behalf of the Limb Preservation Alliance and Dr. Kathleen Stevens, Assistant Professor and researcher at the Faculty of Nursing, Memorial University, St. John’s, Newfoundland and Labrador, Canada, we are reaching out to invite you to participate in a significant research study titled "Systematic Priority Setting of the International Working Group of the Diabetic Foot Recommendations to Inform Health Policymakers: A Q-Methodological Study."

This study aims to identify priority recommendations from the International Working Group on the Diabetic Foot (IWGDF) from the perspective of healthcare providers like you, with expertise in diabetes and foot health. The results will guide advocacy efforts for health policy changes that align with these critical recommendations.
We would greatly value your participation in this study by completing a Q-sort survey. The survey, which will take approximately 15-20 minutes, asks you to rank the IWGDF recommendations by their importance in influencing policy and practice.

M V Diabetes organized MV Diabetes Update in Diabetic Foot & Kidney at Hotel Radisson Blu.Key speakers of the program were Prof. Dr. Andrew Boulton, Immediate Pat President of International Diabetes Federation (IDF) & Dr. Janaka Karallikedde, Clinical Reader (Associate Professor) in Diabetes and Cardiovascular Disease, King’s College London and Consultant, Physician in Diabetes and Endocrinology, Guy’s and St Thomas Hospital London Around 120 doctors participated.

7th Train the Foot Trainer (TtFT) Program- Chennai at the MV Diabetes Royapuram and Hyatt Regency, Chennai TTft (Train the Foot Trainer Program) has been done 6 times in South America, Africa, Europe, UAE & Western Pacific regions.The 7th Edition was done in Chennai by MV Diabetes under the leadership of Dr. Vijay Viswanathan for Indian doctors. Doctors from other countries like Maldives, Thailand, Indonesia, Myanmar also participated. Both faculty & delegates were from various countries apart from different parts of India. The doctors were given an overview of how to manage Diabetic Foot in these 2 days. There were also sessions about Diabetes treatment and they visited the facilities in M V Hospital for Diabetes and also interacted with the experts around the world.
